This is a great way to cook Tilapia!! If you like spicy you will love this! So easy to cook and the results are mouth-watering!! Wonderful with rice and warm bread!! My not-so-crazy-about-fish-friends love this! Read more !!
Ingredients:
4-6 tilapia
2 tablespoons - paprika
2 teaspoons - salt (or to taste) **read recipe alteration below.
2 teaspoons - lemon pepper
1-1/2 teaspoon - garlic powder
1-1/2 teaspoon - ground red pepper
1-1/2 teaspoon - dried, crushed basil
1 teaspoon - onion powder
1 teaspoon - dried thyme
1 cup - unsalted butter, melted (i always start with a stick of butter melted and then melt more if needed.)
Directions:
1. Heat iron skillet on high 5 minutes.
2. Mix all seasonings in a bowl.
3. Dip fillets in melted butter and coat with seasonings. (I drizzle the spices on each piece of fish to get an even coating. Don't be afraid to coat heavily)!!
4. Place fillets in hot skillet and cook 2 minutes on each side.
5. Makes 4 servings.
6. Enjoy!!!
