Blackberry Cobbler

This is the way my mother made it when we were kids.
Ingredients:
berry mix
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbs cornstarch
1 c. hot water
3 c. blackberries
1/2 tbs. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
dough mix
1 c. self rising flour
1 tbs. sugar
3 tbs butter
1/2 c. whole milk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400
2. In a sauce pan combine 3/4 C. sugar and cornstarch until well blended
3. Gradually add water . cook & stir until boiling.
4. Boil 1 min.
5. Remove from heat and stir in blackberries.
6. pour into 1 1/2 quart greased casserole dish.
7. dot with 1/2 tsp butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
8. In bowl combine flour and sugar.
9. Cut butter in to form fine particles.
10. Add milk and sitr just to blend. (dough will be sticky)
11. Drop by spoonfuls onto fruit.
12. Bake for 30 min or until browned and bubbly.
