An old fashioned basic cobbler recipe. great served with ice cream while hot or milk when cooled.
Ingredients:
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
2 cups blackberries or 2 cups fruit
Directions:
1. Place butter in a 9x9 pan in a 350 degree oven.
2. While butter is melting, mix flour, sugar and milk. Batter will be lumpy.
3. Pour batter into pan with butter.
4. Top with fruit.
5. Cook until brown and sides pull away. (About 30 minutes).
