Quick and easy appetizer for entertaining
Ingredients:
9 ounces black olives, with pits to ensure more flavor
1 garlic clove
6 anchovy fillets
salt
fresh ground black pepper
extra virgin olive oil
1 lemon, juice of
Directions:
1. Pit the olives by squeezing or smashing them and removing the pit.
2. Place the olives, garlic, anchovies in a small food processor until mixture is smooth.
3. Add salt and fresh ground pepper, and correct any seasoning.
4. Add olive oil to loosen.
5. Add lemon juice to taste.
