I was asked to cater a Turkish menu and this is one of the delights I served and it was a huge hit. Read more . This is very unusual and very tasty. Goes great with a nice salad or bowl of soup on a rainy day. Enjoy.
Ingredients:
2 cups chopped and pitted black olives
3/4 cup canola oil
1 cup plain yogurt
2 cups flour
3 eggs
1/2 cup chopped fresh mint
1 bunch green onions chopped finely
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon black seeds
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions:
1. Beat eggs then add yogurt and oil and mix well.
2. Add olives, green onion, mint, red pepper flakes, salt and seeds to mixture and mix.
3. Add baking powder and flour.
4. Mixture will be runny.
5. Pour in a greased rectangular baking dish and bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
6. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes before you cut and serve.
