Black Eyed Pea Salad

This is a great salad to bring to those pot-luck dinners at church.
Ingredients:
sauce
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
3 - 5 tablespoons worcestershire sauce ( i use 2)
salad mixture
3-15 oz. cans black eyed peas, drained
1 cup chopped celery
1 medium onion chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
1 - 2oz. jar pimientos, drained
Directions:
1. Put the sauce ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
2. In large bowl combine remaining ingredients.
3. Add warm sauce to salad mixture.
4. Cover and chill overnight, stirring occasionally.
