Bethal's Peanut Butter Balls

These were a definite must on my mother in-law's Christmas table every year.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
confectioners' sugar, 1 box
1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
1 cup coconut
1 (12 ounce) jar peanut butter
1 cup chopped walnuts (or any kind of nuts)
6 ounces chocolate chips
paraffin wax, half of a block
Directions:
1. {You can substitute a jar of crunchy peanut butter for the creamy peanut butter and walnuts}
2. Mix together the graham cracker crumbs, confectioner's sugar, butter, coconut, peanut butter and walnuts.
3. Roll mixture into small balls and refrigerate.
4. Melt the chocolate and paraffin wax in a double boiler or the microwave.
5. Dip the balls into the chocolate and place on waxed paper.
6. Let sit at room temperature or refrigerate.
