The Best Buttermilk White Bread I Ever Made
Ingredients:
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water (75-80*f)
2 tablespoons butter, softened to room temperature
1 tablespoon granulated white sugar
3 cups white bread flour
1/4 cup dry buttermilk powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. “rapid rise” yeast (bread machine yeast) or (not both)
1 tablespoon active dry yeast (regular yeast)
Directions:
1. Put ingredients in the bread pan in order above.
2. Select regular cycle light crust.
3. Bake and cool then slice bread to desired thickness.
