Besan Or Boondi Laddu

Besan (ground gram) ladoo is common in India . One of my fave . I saw relatives making dis for a family function and just fell in love with this sweetmeat .
Ingredients:
just make the boondi first ( recipe uploaded ) until step 6
for the syrup
1 to 2 c sugar
1 c water
10 cashew nuts , 10raisins , 5 whole cloves - fried in ghee
pinch of cardamon powder
1 tbsp diamond candy /kalkandu
ghee
Directions:
1. Boil the sugar and water in a pan
2. Mix the colour and boil till abit sticky but not too sticky .
3. Mix the cardamom powder .
4. Add the boondi to the syrup and mix well.
5. Add the fried stuffs and the Diamond candy .
6. Mix well .
7. Set aside for few mins.
8. Now make tight lemon size balls with the warm boondi mixture while applying some ghee in your hands .
9. Store it in an air tight container
