My daughter love these and it is a good way to get some more added fruit and dairy in her diet
Ingredients:
2 frozen waffles
1/4 cup frozen fruit ( any kind)
1/4 cup of applesauce
4 spoonfuls of vanilla or plain yogurt, divided between the 2 waffles
Directions:
1. Toast waffles
2. blend the applesauce and fruit together in a small microwave bowl. Cook for 1 minute or less in the microwave. Stir until nicely blended ( I found 1 minute to be quite long, it was pretty hot so I had to wait a bit before it cooled down)...
3. spread yogurt onto toasted waffles
4. spoon the applesauce mixture overtop of the yogurt.
5. feed to a hungry kid :)
