Belva St. Pecan Tarts

This is a recipe my mother-in-law got from a co-worker. The original recipe calls for walnuts.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter (soft)
3 ounces cream cheese
1 cup flour
1/4 cup butter (soft)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans or 1 cup walnuts
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. To make shells: grease and flour small muffin pans.
3. Then press mixture of butter, cream cheese, and flour into each (forming small piecrusts ).
4. To make filling: mix butter, vanilla, brown sugar, and pecans together.
5. Place filling in shells.
6. Bake on 350 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes, or until brown.
