Like all great recipes involving beer, with this one you open a can, pour half in the recipe, and drink the other half. Perfect!
Ingredients:
6 medium potatoes
4 slices bacon
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup beer, any lager-type brand (avoid very heavy beers like guinness)
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
1. Boil potatoes in medium-size saucepan until just tender.
2. Peel and slice.
3. Fry bacon until crisp.
