This is another of my favoreite rice dishes. Goes great with meat and poultry and is tasty and savory. men love this recipe!
Ingredients:
1 onion fine chopped
1 cup slice mushrooms
2 tbs butter
1 cup raw rice
10 oz. beef bouillon
1 cup beer
2 tbs oil
few drops hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
1. Saute onions and mushrooms in butter till soft but not browned
2. Place in a medium casserole dish
3. Add remaining ingrdients
4. Stir to blend
5. Cover and bake 350F for 45mins or liquid has absorbed.
6. Fluff with a fork.
7. Reheats well
