This bread is so delicious! I love to cube this bread and use it for dunking into spinach and artichoke dip!
Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
1/4 cup flax seed (ground)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
1 tablespoon cooking oil
12 ounces beer, at room temperature
Directions:
1. Mix all the dry ingredients.
2. Add oil and beer.
3. Stir until dough is just mixed.
4. Put dough in a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
5. Bake at 375 F for 45 minutes or until nicely browned. Remove from oven and let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan to cool some more.
