Beef Vegetable Barley Soup

Light soup for lunch with beef, carrots, potatoes, and barley.
Ingredients:
5 cups water
1/2 pound lean beef, chopped
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup potato, chopped
1/4 cup barley
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 cup beef boullion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. Brown beef in fat free cooking spray in hot pan. Put in pot with cups water, 1 cup beef broth, salt, pepper, onion and barley. Simmer for 1 hour. Add carrots and potato and simmer for 20 minutes more.
