This dish adds some new tastes to the original beef stew. The paprika and teriyaki sauce always surprise my dinner guests! Ingredients:
2 cups beef broth |
1 pound beef stew meat, cubed |
1 1/2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce |
1 chopped onion |
2 cloves minced garlic |
1/4 cup flour |
3 sliced carrots |
1 tablespoon paprika |
2 cubed potatoes |
1 sliced stalk of celery |
1 bay leaf |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Put beef stew meat into the slow cooker. 2. Mix together paprika, flour, salt, and pepper in a small bowl; sprinkle mixture over stew meat (stir the meat to allow the mixture to coat it). 3. Add beef broth, teriyaki sauce, potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, onion, celery, garlic and bay leaf to slow cooker. 4. Cover slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 hours, stirring occasionally. |
