Delicious beef stew that can be made with beef or venison. It has a hint of sweetness that makes it very unique. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat
1 onion, chopped
6 carrots, sliced
2 celery ribs, sliced
28 ounces diced tomatoes, canned
8 potatoes, cubed
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon salt
4 tablespoons minute tapioca (add more for thicker gravy)
Directions:
1. Do not brown meat.
2. Place all ingredients in a large roaster and cover.
3. Bake at 250 for five hours, stirring two or three times during cooking process.
