Beef Noodle Casserole

A co-worker gave this to me. I love how simple it is for those busy nights.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
2 tablespoons butter
garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 dash pepper
1.5 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (7 ounce) package flat noodles
6 green onions with tops, chopped
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Directions:
1. Cook beef in butter until browned and crumbly.
2. Add garlic powder, salt, sugar, pepper, & sauce.
3. Simmer over low heat.
4. Cook noodles and drain.
5. Combine onions, cream cheese & sour cream.
6. Grease 2 quart casserole.
7. Alternate layers of noodles, cheese mixture, and meat sauce.
8. Sprinkle top with grated cheese.
9. Bake at 350 for 15-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
