1. Beef Noodle Bake Recipe 2. My grandmother brought this recipe with her from Scotland. I like to make 3. it for church suppers and picnics. 4. Prep: 15 min. 5. Bake: 35 min. 6. Yield: 6 Servings 7. Ingredients 8. -1/2 pounds ground beef 9. small onion, chopped 10. cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce 11. cup (8 ounces) Daisy Brand Sour Cream 12. package (3 ounces) cream cheese, cubed and softened 13. teaspoon sugar 14. /2 to 1 teaspoon garlic salt 15. cups uncooked wide egg noodles, cooked and drained 16. cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese 17. Directions 18. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is no longer pink; 19. drain. Remove from the heat; stir in the tomato sauce, sour cream, cream 20. cheese, sugar and garlic salt. 21. Place half of the noodles in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish; top 22. with half of the beef mixture. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350° for 23. -35 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 3-5 24. minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Yield: 6 servings. 25.
