Beef Noodle Bake

My mom made this all the time for us growing up. It is now one of my family favorites. I do not add the sugar, just a personal choice. This can be frozen. Just fix and put in freezer. Thaw and then heat. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
8 ounces wide egg noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 beef bouillon cube
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup onion
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Cook noodles and drain. Finely chop onion and set aside. Grate cheese and set aside. Brown beef and onion in skillet. Drain. Return to skillet and stir in remaining ingredients with beef. Heat slowly until beef cube is dissolved. Stir in noodles. Bake in 8 X 12 baking dish. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. I always double recipe and put in 9 x 13 pan.
