Beef in Red Wine Gravy

A hearty, easy, delicious crock-pot dinner. I sometimes throw in some mushrooms.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 cup coarsely chopped onion
2 beef bouillon cubes
3 tablespoons cornstarch
salt and pepper
1 1/2 cups dry red wine
hot cooked noodles
Directions:
1. Add beef and onion to a 4-quart slow cooker.
2. Add bouillon cubes.
3. Sprinkle cornstarch, salt, and pepper over beef and onions.
4. Pour red wine over beef mixture.
5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours.
6. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
