Ingredients:

  • 2 (5 lb) beef brisket ( totaling about 10 lbs.)
  • lawrey's seasoning salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees fahrenheit.
  2. Place briskets in pan fat side up in foiled pan. Do NOT add water. Sprinkle with garlic, pepper and salt. Cover and cook for 6 hours. Uncover for last hour of the cooking time.
  3. It makes its own gravy. If you think you will need more gravy, you can add a little water to the pan drippings and flavor with boullion, garlic and pepper.
  4. Before slicing, scrape the fat layer off the top of the meat. Cut against the grain of the meat.
