This is another quick yet elegant way to start your dinner party or holiday meal. It's very straightforward and simple, and is guaranteed to please.
Ingredients:
2 (13 3/4 ounce) cans beef broth
1 (3 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1/2 lb ground beef, cooked, drained and crumbled
1/2 cup dry red wine (preferably burgundy)
1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup water
1/2 cup medium egg noodles
sour cream, for garnish
Directions:
1. In saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring. Reduce heat.
2. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Garnish with sour cream before serving.
