smaller amount of meat (and servings) than ii should make more soupy & more veggies per serving
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds lean beef, cut for stewing
1 cup celery, diced
1/2 large red onion, diced
8 ounces white mushrooms or crimini mushrooms, sliced
1/2 lb carrots, sliced
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
4 cups beef broth
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 cup pearl barley
Directions:
1. Dice or slice all ingredients into bite-size chunks.
2. Peel & crush garlic.
3. Place all ingredients in crock pot
4. Cook on low about 7-8 hours
