Becky's Cream Style Corn

This is simple and the best corn! My five year old eats it while making the 'mmmm' sound.
Ingredients:
1 lb sweet white corn, frozen
6 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy 2 quart pan.
2. Let come to a boil.
3. Turn heat down to medium or low and cook 25 minutes, stirring often because it is easy to burn or stick to bottom of the pan.
