Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef
1 lb italian pork sausage, spicy
7 celery stalks, diced
6 carrots, diced
1 white onion, diced
6 cloves of garlic, crushed
4 tbsp olive oil
16 ounce diced tomatoes (canned with juice)
16 ounces of chicken broth
2 tsp sea salt (or to taste)
2 tbsp dried oregano
2 tbsps dried basil
1 tbsps cumin
3 tbsps chili powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper (more if you like it spicy)
Directions:
1. Saute veggies in olive oil for about a minute and add meat and brown.
2. Season the meat mixture with all the spices.
3. Add the tomatoes and chicken broth and simmer for 35 minutes.
4. Taste and add more seasoning if desired.
5. If you are feeling a little frisky, eat this awesome chili with a dollop of sour cream.
