I love this on a bun with a little vinegar slaw and a touch of extra sauce. Use any cheap cut of pork if you wish. The slow cooking will make it tender. Use your favorite cola and bbq sauce.
Ingredients:
3 lbs pork shoulder
1 medium onion
3 cloves garlic
1 (12 ounce) can cola
1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
Directions:
1. Place roast in slow cooker.
2. Peel garlic and place on top.
3. Peel onion and slice. Separate rings and place on top of roast and garlic.
4. Pour cola over roast.
5. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-6 hours, or until roast is cooked through.
6. Remove roast from slow cooker and shred with two forks.
7. Remove and discard onions and garlic if desired.
8. Return meat to slow cooker.
9. Pour in bbq sauce and stir well.
10. Heat on high 30 minutes or until sauce is heated through.
