Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups basmati rice (washed and soaked)
salt
Directions:
1. Wash and soak rice in sufficient water for one hour.Drain and transfer to a large microwave bowl. Add three cups of water, salt and stir well. Cover and cook for thirteen minutes on Microwave HIGH (100%).
2. Allow standing time in the microwave itself of five minutes before serving.
