This is such a great use for basil even though I've never heard this terminology. It is pronounced Roo-ee. She serves this with her favorite dippers.. baguette slices, pita chips, etc. Read more . Cook time does not include overnight refrigeration.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups fresh basil, chopped
2 small tomatoes, finely chopped
2 1/3 cups fine dry bread crumbs
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup olive oil
Directions:
1. Stir together the basil, tomatoes, crumbs, garlic, jalapeno, salt and oil in a medium bowl.
2. Cover.
3. Refrigerate overnight.
4. Serve with your favorite dippers!
