This is a basic oil, vinegar and herb dressing that I came up with when I was dissatisfied with the bottled organic vinaigrettes available. Great for green salads, grain salads, bean salads or cooked vegetables.
Ingredients:
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons dijon mustard
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons granulated garlic, or
3 fresh garlic cloves (minced or pressed.)
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a jar
2. Shake vigorously.
3. Store in tightly closed jar.
4. Keeps indefinitely.
5. Shake thoroughly before using.
