Basic Oatmeal Pie

Ingredients:
1 store-bought unbaked 9-inch pie shell
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
3 eggs
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon clove
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup corn syrup
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add cinnamon, cloves and salt; stir in corn syrup.
3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Stir in rolled oats and pour entire mixture into the pie shell.
5. Bake for about 1 hour, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
