Basic Fruity Custard/Pudding

Swap out the fruit for something different every time. Sized for a 1.5-Qt crock pot / slow cooker. Maintain the same ratios for a different size pot. (6 eggs ~= 1 cup liquid)
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cup 2% milk
6 eggs
1 c dried blueberries
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
Directions:
1. Combine 3c milk and the dried fruit (use a different mixture every time) and soak together in refrigerator until the fruit is soft. (a couple of hours)
2. Using a whisk, blender, etc, blend the eggs, oatmeal, and remaining milk thoroughly.
3. Combine the fruit mixture with the egg mixture in a 1.5-Qt slow cooker, and cover.
4. Cover slow cooker stonewear with a clean folded tea-towel to absorb excess liquid.
5. Cook: Low 8h or High 4h.
