Basic Buttermilk Biscuits

A simple biscuit recipe that's soooooo yummy yet sooooooo easy!! From the Southern Living Annual Cookbook, this recipe is sure to become a family favorite!
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 cups self-rising soft-wheat flour
3/4 cup buttermilk
butter or margarine, melted
Directions:
1. Cut 1/3 cup butter into flour with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Add buttermilk, stirring until the dry ingredients are moistened.
2. Trun dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 3 or 4 times.
3. Roll the dough to 3/4-inch thickness; cut with a circle cutter, and place on a baking sheet.
4. Bake biscuits at 425 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes. Brush with melted butter.
