Hearty, healthy, rich in whole grain goodness.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups barley
3/4 cups brown rice
1/4 cups wild rice
1 1/2 cups chopped carrots
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
50 ounces chicken broth
10 ounces chopped chicken breast
2 tbsp chicken bouillon
1 tsp dry oregano
1 tsp dry parsley
1 tsp dry rosemary
1 tsp dry thyme
1 tsp dry basil
1 tsp marjoram
1 tbsp black pepper
2 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp dehydrated onion
2 tbsp sesame seeds
Directions:
1. chop all vegetables into pot.
2. Add remaining ingredients.
3. Bring to boil, reduce heat.
4. Simmer for 1 hour or until liquid is absorbed and grains are tender.
5. Serve hot or cold.
