Barb's Hot Chicken Salad

A great and fairly easy casserole. I had this at a lunch once, and got a copy of the recipe. You can use reduced fat mayo and sour cream if you wish.
Ingredients:
4 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts (chopped)
1 (12 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1 (2 ounce) jar pimientos (optional)
1 1/2 cups hellmann's mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 (6 ounce) can french's french fried onion rings (crumbled)
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 (6 ounce) package toasted slivered almonds
Directions:
1. Mix everything (except onions and cheese) together, and spread into a buttered or sprayed 9 x 13 dish.
2. Top with cheese, then crumbled onions.
3. Bake at 350-degrees for 30 minutes.
