This is a very easy and simple, yet elegant dessert. You can practically do it while your guest are enjoying themselves.
Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) package frozen raspberries, partially thawed (or strawberries)
3 tablespoons orange liqueur
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
4 bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise
1/4 cup orange liqueur, for flambeing. (if wished you may add more)
Directions:
1. Place the berries, liqueur and granulated sugar in a electric blender. Mix till.
2. smoth. Then strain it through a fine sieve.
3. Melt butter in large skillet, add brown sugar, when sugar is dissolved, add in.
4. the bananas that have all ready been cut in half lengthwise. Let saute on each side for about 3-4 minutes, and then add the berry mixture,and reheat.
5. Warm a little liqueur in a small pan. Very carefully ignite with a long kitchen.
6. match. Then ever so carefully pour over the bananas that are in the skillet.
7. Gentley spoon the bananas and the flaming sauce into individual dessert bowls.
