Everything yummy about a Banana Split is in this cake. It's quick and easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 ripe banana, mashed (medium sized)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup quartered maraschino cherry
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar.
3. Beat in egg, banana and vanilla until well combined.
4. Combine flour, powder and salt and gradually add to creamed mixture.
5. Stir in walnuts and pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish.
6. Bake for 20 minutes and sprinkle top evenly with marshmallows, cherries and chocolate chips.
7. Bake for 10 minutes more or until lightly browned.
8. Cool on wire rack, slice and serve!
