When I first made this for my family I tried to hide the fact that it had sour cream in it. I succeeded and the family loved it. When I let the cat out of the bag about the sour cream every one was very surprised but this is the only way they want their nanner puddin now. Ingredients:
2 small pkgs. vanilla pudding |
1 c. milk |
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
1 8 oz. container sour cream |
1 8 oz. container cool whip |
6 bananas,sliced |
1/2 pkg. (12 oz.) vanilla wafers |
Directions:
1. In a medium size bowl combine pudding mix and milk then stir until dissolved. 2. Refrigerate for 15 mins. 3. Stir sweetened condensed milk into pudding mixture until smooth. 4. Fold in sour cream,cool whip and bananas, 5. Make a single layer of vanilla wafers in the bottom of a 9x13 dish. Spread pudding mixture evenly over wafers. 6. Crush remaining wafers and sprinkle over top. 7. Refrigerate until served |
