Banana and Peanut are a perfect match made in the kitchen for sure ..
Ingredients:
227 gm butter
2 c plain flour
1 tsp baking pwd
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 3/4 pounds ripe banana
1 c sugar
2 l eggs
1/2 c boiling water
1/2 c banana liquer
2 tbsp bourbon
icing
1 3/4 c creamy peanut butter ( not the chunky version )
1/2 c sugar
4 oz baking chocolate
ganache
12 oz semisweet choc
4 oz unsweetened choc
2 c heavy cream
2 tbsp sugar
1 c roasted unsalted peanut pulse until coarsely chopped w/ 12 whole peanuts
1 medium ripe banana - 12 thick clices
Directions:
1. Pre heat the oven at 180 deg C .
2. Grease three 9 inch pans .
3. Sift the dry ing.
4. Beat the buttter and sugar until soft and well mixed .
5. Add the eggs and beat until mixed .
6. Beat the banana pcs for few secs .
7. Add the dry ing and mix .
8. Slowly add water and mix for few secs .
9. Bake for 30 mins and brush with bourbon .

12. Icing :
13. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy .
14. Add the melted choc and mix for a min .
15. Set aside a cup for later use .
16. Do the icing top and sides one by one .
17. Chill for hrs until firm

19. Ganache :
20. Heat the cream and sugar
21. Stir until sugar is dissolved
22. Pour over chocolate and leave aside for 5 mins .
23. Now whisk until smooth .
24. Pour on the cake and sides
25. Chill until firm .

27. Coat the chopped peanuts on the sides
28. Pipe 12 swirls on top of the cake with the set aside Icing and keep a banana slice and peanut on top
29. Chill before serving
