Banana-Nut Muffins (No Processed Sugar)

These muffins are made without processed sugar and are incredibly moist, delicious and nutritious!
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour (i prefer white whole wheat)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 olive oil
1/2 cup date syrup
2 eggs, beaten
1 large mashed ripe banana
1/4 cup hot water
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or 1/4 cup pecans
Directions:
1. Mix together dry ingredients in large bowl. In separate bowl, add eggs, oil and date syrup until they are well-blended. Add in mashed banana. Incorporate the wet ingredients and hot water simultaneously into dry ingredients. Gently mix in nuts.
2. Pour into 12-cup muffin tin and bake in 350 oven for approximately 17 minutes.
