Got this when I was first married in 1968, and still is one of my favourites. Fast , easy, can't go wrong...
Ingredients:
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup canola oil
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 cups soured milk
3 ripe mashed bananas
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
2. Grease 2 loaf pans and flour also.
3. Dissolve baking soda in the soured milk.
4. In a large bowl, place sugar with oil, stir.
5. Add the mashed bananas and milk.
6. Add in the nuts, flour, and salt.
7. Blend by wooden spoon well.
8. Bake 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
9. until tester comes away clean.
