Banana Layered Pie

From Great American Favorite Brand Name Cookbook. Cook time is chill time.
Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups cold milk
1 (5 ounce) package vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling mix
1 9-inch baked pie crusts or 1 prepared graham cracker crumb crust, cooled
2 medium bananas
1/2 cup thawed cool whip non-dairy whipped topping
lemon juice
Directions:
1. Pour cold milk into bowl. Add pie filling mix. Mix at low speed, beat until blended, about 1 minute.
2. pour 1/2 cup of the pie filling into pie shell.
3. Slice 1 banana; arrange slices on filling in shell.
4. Top with 3/4 cup of the pie filling.
5. Blend whipped topping into remaining pie filling. Spread over filling in pie shell.
6. Chill about 3 hours.
7. Slice remaining banana; brush with lemon juice. Arrange banana slices on pie.
8. Garnish with additional whipped topping, if desired.
