Ingredients:
* 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 1/4 cup corn meal (white or yellow)
* 2 medium ripe bananas mashed
* 3 teaspoons of baking powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 tablespoons brown sugar
* 1 large egg
* 3 tablespoons oil
* 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
* 1/4 teaspoon fresh grated nutmeg
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 400 degrees
2. In medium mixing bowl combine flour, corn meal, baking powder, and salt; mix until even. In another mixing bowl beat egg, then add in mashed banana, sugar, oil, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon; stir until smooth. Add banana mixture to flour mix; stirring until batter is smooth and even. Pour into greased baking pan. Drizzle honey and cinnamon sugar on top of batter.
3. Bake for 20 minutes (to make sure bread is done stick a toothpick in the center, bread is done if toothpick is clean when pulled out).
