Banana Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting

Very moist and delicious with cream cheese frosting.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup mashed ripe banana
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup sour milk
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Cream margarine and sugar.
2. Add egg, bananas and vanilla.
3. Blend well.
4. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
5. Add 1/3 of the dry ingredients to the banana mixture alternately with 1/2 of the milk.
6. Blend after each addition.
7. Pour into 9 inch square pan.
8. Bake in 350F oven for 45-50 minutes.
9. Cream Cheese Frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter together.
10. Add powdered sugar to taste.
