The banana bread my mom has been making for years. Good warm from the oven, room temperature, or lightly toasted.
Ingredients:
4 mashed bananas
1/2 cup melted butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1/4 cup walnuts
Directions:
1. Mix bananas, sugar, butter, vanilla and egg (in order).
2. Mix and add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
3. Pour into greased loaf pan.
4. Bake at 325 to 350F for one hour, or until toothpick poked in center comes out clean.
