Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt (scant)
1/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
about 4 mashed bananas (give or take)
3/4 cup pecans (optional)
Directions:
1. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and soda (set aside)
2. Cream sugar and shortening
3. add eggs to cream mixture
4. beat
5. stir in flour mixture and bananas
6. bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees for one hour or until pick comes out dry
