This recipe is more like a coffe cake style than bread. It is so delicious and relatively easy to make.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 bananas, mashed
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
1. In large bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy.
2. Gradually beat in sugar.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time.
4. Add mashed bananas, vanilla and sour cream.
5. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
6. Fold into the creamed mixture, stirring just to blend.
7. In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients.
8. Sprinkle half the mixture over bottom of a well greased 9x13 baking dish.
9. Spoon in the batter.
10. Sprinkle with remaining topping.
11. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
