Banana Bran Muffins

This is a modification of Evie* recipe. I made changes to reflect a healthier muffin for my family. Preparation time does not include sit time for Bran Buds and Yogurt. These are moist ,filling and healthy.
Ingredients:
1 cup bran buds
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/8 cup splenda sugar blend for baking
1 cup wheat flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
3 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup applesauce
3 bananas, mashed
1 teaspoon vanilla
nuts, chopped
Directions:
1. Combine Bran Buds and yogurt and let sit for 1 hour.
2. Preheat oven to 400.
3. Combine remaining dry ingredients.
4. Add eggs, butter, applesauce, banana and vanilla to the bran and yogurt mixture and stir.
5. Add dry ingredients and nuts to the above mixture.
6. Mix, but do not over mix.
7. Spoon into greased muffin tins.
8. Bake 10-15 minutes.
