Banana Apple Salad

We enjoy this salad around the holiday. But can be enjoyed any time of the year. You can use any type of apples.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2-3/4 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 green apple
1 red apple
1 yellow apple
2 -3 bananas
Directions:
1. Melt butter in sauce pan, over low heat; Cool.
2. Gradually stir in sugar, egg and vinegar.
3. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly; Cool completely.
4. Chop apples and bananas.
5. Pour dressing over fruit and mix gently.
6. Enjoy.
