healthy banana apple muffins low-fat, low- calorie recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 bananas, mashed
1 egg white
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 apple, chopped
2 tbsp. honey (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 365 degrees (farenheit).
2. Whisk dry ingredients in large bowl.
3. In a seperate bowl mash bananas and egg whites thoroughly.
4. Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir until blended. add in chopped apples
5. Pour mixture into muffin tin.
6. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes.
7. Remove from oven when toothpick can be inserted into centre of muffin and comes out clean.
